About the Author

I guess this is where I am supposed to talk about myself, even though it is one of my biggest discomforts. Then I suppose this is where I have to show that I have a big head or something like that. Well I don't have a big head, I don't wear a suit and tie I don't wear black plastic glasses held together with tape, and you couldn't give me a pocket protector to save your life. As a matter of fact I am mostly seen in a black Tee-shirt, blue jeans and work boots with my hair blown where ever the wind decides to put it.

I started writing this stuff called poetry back in my early teens but I threw them away as fast as I wrote them, I didn't want them to be seen by anyone. There was enough laughter and mockery in my life then and there wasn't room for anymore.

Every now and then a few found there way to family members and friends of family members to be criticized. Some thought of them being good and said I should have been a writer, some said music, while others felt I should keep them and my feelings to myself.

With those that I have allowed to be seen or wrote for special occasions were one thing but far and few between. There were a few writings that I have remembered where I have rewritten, then there are those I have saved in the last ten years. These writings are my feelings, the way I see the complexity of  love and life as well as my way of dealing with life.

The following pages will tell the story of the complicated life of The Woodsman.
