I did not Pass
(From The Woodsman’s Notebook)
My Dearest Sweetheart,
Cry for me not for I am not gone.
Dry your tear of the things that used to be.
No more am I ill or disabled with pain.
For today my lungs are cleansed and full of life.
Now my love, I am energized and whole.
Today I have seen the face of God, and
I have been embraced by his love and glory.
I have seen a place he has made for us, a new home like
no other I have seen before.
Cry for me not do not fear, for my darling, my love; I
will always be near.
My love for you spans eternity; I shall wait patiently
till the day you are again with me.
Till then my dear I will keep you safe and warm cuddled
tight in my loving arms.
My son,
A father I am and proud to be. For the treasures in
life you have given me. |

The memories of life for which we had, my son I
am not gone so please don’t be sad.
At any time you if you feel uncertainty; you
know my son you can still talk to me.
My daughters,
You are the apples of my eye.
Our little talks our long walks, from tricycles
to bicycles you see, these are treasures I will
take with me.
The love you gave for a life so long, this is
the reason I became so tall and strong.
My family,
This day is sad that’s true but please don’t
forget my everlasting love for you.
I did not dye. I am not gone. God the Father
just called me home. I am in flight on a wing of
a dove,
to our new home in the light above.
Remember one day we will be together again, in a
brand new home here in heaven.
