Control
(From The Woodsman’s Notebook)

Who are you to decide what I should say or do?
If it’s not the way you would choose.
Must there always be a right or wrong?
Are you the only and we live by your song?
Just like the bird which soars high and free,
you feel the right to make a mockery of me.
So what you decide or what you choose
you may want to be careful because in
the end you will lose. For what you can’t see
I’m about to touch the sky.
Don’t you control me, don’t even try.

Good Bye!
(From The Woodsman’s Notebook)
Have you ever told a loved one when they’ve passed the final words of eternity.
Two words that make it ok but just the same they are hard to say.
Most take these words lightly, while some say them with no meaning, and no feel.
Others don’t know how to say them, while those use them like a spinning wheel.
And there are those who won’t say them at all. They won’t use them in their time of need.
Two words with contradicting meaning, once put together will create the painful seed.
To some it’s an understanding of its meaning to an end. To some the end of a conversation, then on their way home again. But Good-Bye is forever you will see me never again.
