Letter to Friend
(From The Woodsman’s Notebook)

I am the Woodsman We all know is true, for the last two years he walked through life's doors aimless and blue. Said the Woodsman to his faithful son " maybe our life here is not the one." His son the wolf, looked up as if to say, " don't worry dad there will be another day." Other days have come and gone but for the Woodsman and his wolf just walked along. Then one day the sun appeared, his son the wolf said "well lookie here!" A sun so warm, and it's a fact, it appeared to the Woodsman in the form of a cat. Now the Woodsman smiled and said, "imagine that." He got E-mail from a Lady whose name was that of a cat! The Woodsman said to his son. "What shall I do?" His son looked up and said. "Dad it's all up to you." So the Woodsman sat down and keyed a few lines, tried not to show a heart that only knows the word pine. But even after that he knew it was a matter of time. Then came another from the fabulous Cat, wondered if a wolf and a cat could get along. (Imagine that) For the Woodsman he knew, by the profile she drew. Then he came home in a terrible way, to find a rose to brighten his day. Now he wonders, "what can I do?" to show her thanks and say, " This one is only for you. One day they shall meet we know this is true, The Woodsman's thoughts could someday be shared by you.

Our Season of life
(From The Woodsman’s Notebook)

In the spring of one’s life we are born, we grow, we learn about life.
In the summer of one’s life we grow and learn about life still.
In the fall of one’s life we grow, and we learn and teach and nurture life.
Then comes the winter of one’s life, we grow withered and tired and reminisce about life.
We pass and with our passing we bring a new season of life.
