The lady Is More than a Lady
(From The Woodsman's notebook)
They say your candle burned out long
before your legend ever will.
but it really wasn't all that long ago
your smile showed brighter than
any candle ever will.
Good bye Princess Di
It doesn’t matter how they may try
no other could match
your genuine smile,
All the caring that you shared
will never be compared
by the love and tenderness
to all those in distress
but you showed us all how
much you cared
Good night Princess Di
Because of your love for those
many have smiled
along with you
even in their pain |

You cared for the children
you gave them hope.
You took care of men
who were badly burned
and never asked for payment in return
While others criticized and scorned
you set out for another shore.
to spread a wealth of life
that no Royalty could afford.
You gave life of love.
You gave life of hope.
You gave a gift of sharing
And taught the world a term called caring.
Good night Princess Di
If anyone should be named at all
No one else can be called the Queen of Hearts
Good bye Lady Diana
til' we finally meet in heaven
I know there you will hold a place
Among the stars that shine
your glow of life, that steady pace
and the beautiful smile upon your face.
