Am I Good Enough?
(From The Woodsman's Notebook)
I’m good enough for when you’re down.
I’m good enough to boss around.
I’m good enough to lend an ear.
I’m good enough for a shoulder to bear.
I’m good enough to lift the load.
I’m good enough when I do as I am told.
I’m good enough to fight the fight.
I’m good enough when I give all my might.
I’m good enough to take the blame.
I’m good enough when it comes to taking shame.
I’m good enough to lift you up.
I’m good enough to be there when you have given up.
I’m good enough to make the time.
I’m good enough for this silly rhyme.
I’m good enough no matter the cost.
I’m good enough when you are feeling lost.
I’m good enough up to the end.
But am I good enough to be called a friend?

A Tribute to Osama
(From the Woodsman’s notebook)
Osama Bin laden you’re the man,
If anyone can do it you sure can.
Shoot a rifle; live in the hills
and keeping the Afghans quiet and still.
Ride a camel, drive a truck then drop
a few airplanes just for luck.
Osama, Osama you’re so neat,
but what you have done could have
been a little more discrete.
You did it for Islam so what the heck,
but wait till’ that noose gets around your neck.
Osama, Osama I hear bombs are falling like rain,
isn’t it time you caught the next train?
I hear even your Taliban has run for cover
and no one will take a chance to be caught bent
over.
Osama, Osama what have you learned,
what you must think now the tables have turned.
To have your warriors picked and plucked
even had the camels are nervous,
where they turned and ducked.
But one more is coming that won’t be trucked,
and it may say;
***If you can Read This *** Boy*** Are You Sure
Are F@>%$# ***
